Children are important people at Clarence Church of Christ. We are dedicated to partnering with you in the cultivation of the spiritual maturity of your children. Our mission in serving you is to provide the best possible care, comfort, guidance and instruction in the Word of God for your children so that they might "grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ" (2 Peter 3:18). Our goal is for every child to grow to love Jesus, to live like Jesus and to live for Jesus. At the Clarence Church of Christ, the Bible is our curriculum...printed materials and programs are our resources...and adult volunteers are our living examples demonstrating the love of Jesus and life-changing principles to your child.
Sunday Morning Life Groups
Sunday morning Life Groups are what we consider to be our foundational time of Bible instruction for children. This is a time of exciting Bible stories and personal application of God's Word to a child's life. We hope ALL children will be active participants in this time of discovery! Loving, caring teachers will guide your child to learn the tremendous truths about God, the Bible and Jesus.
Nursery Ministries - For the first three years of life we focus on making a child's and parent's experience at church a positive and safe one! We want children to learn about God's love at the earliest opportunity. We begin with lots of hugs for the babies and the sharing of simple Bible stories and songs about Jesus that toddlers enjoy!
Early Childhood Ministries - For ages three through five, our priority is for the young child to enjoy learning about God and His Bible! We introduce preschoolers to their heavenly Father through His Word and encourage them to discover God's love in His creation. Through a variety of learning activities, children will learn the truth of God's Word at their level of comprehension.
Grade-School Ministries - Our goal for the elementary child, grade Kindergarten through Fifth Grade, is both to have fun and to be spiritually challenged. Through a systematic study of the Bible, children are encouraged to explore "what God says," "what it means to me," and "how it can be applied to my life."
At the Clarence Church of Christ we want children to grow spiritually and also have fun being a child!
Our Summer highlight is Vacation Bible School. Each year an action-packed theme that is Bible-based and Christ-centered brings children and adults together to laugh, play, sing and learn more about Jesus. See the Special Events page for more details about this year's program.

Children’s Worship
A unique worship environment awaits your child at the Clarence Church of Christ. Children have the opportunity to participate in age-appropriate worship experiences.
Nursery - Children from birth to through age 2 are cared for by carefully selected adults. Parents are kept in constant contact with their child by a wireless paging system.
Kid’s Praise - Children age 3 to K meet each week to learn songs of praise, share object lessons and encouragement to discover God through a wide variety of teaching methods.

Jr. Church is for children in grades - 1 to 5. They gather to sing, and share in some very creative learning methods so that they can better understand the majesty of God and appreciate all that He has done for us.
Children’s Choir
During each school year, a children’s choir is formed and the children will prepare and perform a musical, usually at around Christmas and Easter. They perform not only at the Clarence Church of Christ but also at Elderly facilities in the area.
