The Clarence Church of Christ exists first of all “to develop Christ-like people.” The Adult Education and Discipleship Ministry offers a variety of programs for adults to know and grow closer to Jesus, as well as to connect with other believers. Life can be extremely difficult, so we offer multiple opportunities for Bible study and encouragement including Life Groups, Bible Studies, and Other Opportunities.

Life Groups
What is a Life Group? If you are looking for an opportunity to study God’s Word, discuss practical application and be encouraged by other believers, then a Life Group is the place for you. Sunday mornings provide you with a choice of groups to fit your age group and interests. Life Groups are small groups that meet together on a weekly basis on Sunday mornings. The size of the group makes teaching very effective and relationships easy to form.
Life Groups provide opportunities for personal growth through Bible Study, building relationships, prayer and Christian service. Life Groups provide you with the chance to grow as a follower of Christ.
Why Choose a Life Group? Life Groups are an easy way to be involved. Since they meet at 9:00 and 10:30 on Sunday mornings, you can choose to meet with your group before or after attending worship. There is no need to make a second trip to the church perfect for your busy schedule. Those with children will enjoy the convenience and assurance of knowing that your child is in a loving, age appropriate environment at the same time you are in class.
Life Groups provide a personal connection to the Clarence Church of Christ. Worship is awesome, but you never have a chance to really know the person that shares your pew. Life Groups provide a way to know these people as friends and fellow Christians. They can share with you in your joys and hurts, provide help in times of need, and build you up with encouragement in your faith.
Life Groups offer you an opportunity to learn from God’s Word. Learning what the Bible says and how to apply it to everyday life is a central theme of every class. You will receive encouragement in the areas of personal Bible study, prayer, fellowship, ministry involvement, service projects and evangelism.
Which Life Group is right for me? Each Life Group has its own personality. The variety of age groups and class activities make each group unique. Current Life Groups include:

Adult Bible Studies
Understanding and knowing who God is and His direction for your life should be the desire and goal of every believer. Getting into God’s Word and studying it will open your heart and mind to the One who has given it for that very purpose.
Sunday Night Adult Bible Study meets at the church building at 6:30 pm to offer you an opportunity to further study God’s Word.
